When kids have had enough of the water, they can head to the park's kiosk, one of several shaded picnic spaces, or one of numerous additional play areas. Since we was a kid growing in the mountains, We spent many summers taking swimming lessons and attending school carnivals at the this pool, so I was excited to show it to my daughter. The pool turned 50 earlier this year, yet everything looked like new, including the locker rooms.

The pool is available from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as from 7 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the weekends.
